in 2007, David Moorefield established
DAK Resources with the goal and vision, to better serve
veterans and their families. In his words, “We feel
it is our purpose to accomplish this, providing
outstanding services and products and stay focused on
the needs of their clients.”
Charlie Patton, writer for The Times-Union recently
wrote "If there's one lesson David Moorefield
learned during his 22 years as a Marine, it's that a
good officer always takes care of his men."
Even though David Moorfield is officially retired, he is
continuing to do just that as he set the
direction for DAK Resources. It is his goal to help
service members find excellent jobs when they return
home from their service to our country. He understands
the importance of helping them make the transition
quickly and easily. Also, it is important to bring
stability to the veteran’s family as soon as possible.
Every employee who works for DAK Resources, feels the
same way. There is nothing they would not do to help
veterans.
